PRIVATE PARTY CLASSES

Connecting in-person with other ladies in my community is one of my favorite things to do and especially in an intimate party setting! I would love to teach your group for a girls night, a festive gathering, or even for your business as a client experience gift! I have a strong passion for teaching and I have taught over 3,000 students my favorite tips and tricks to learn a new skill. Please reach out if you’re interested in hosting a private class!

CRAYOLA CALLIGRAPHY LOWERCASE

In this 90-minute class, students will learn the basics of beginner calligraphy and how to write the lowercase alphabet using Crayola markers. This class focuses on creating a solid foundation for calligraphy and we also cover connecting letters to form words. No lettering experience is necessary. Students will receive a pack of Crayola markers, tracing paper, practice handouts and lots of inspiration and tips to continue practicing at home and beyond!

CRAYOLA CALLIGRAPHY UPPERCASE

In this 90-minute intermediate-level class, students will take their knowledge from the lowercase class and apply it to this class using Crayola markers. We will go over the uppercase alphabet, you’ll practice connecting letters to write words, and you’ll receive tips and exercises on finding your unique lettering style. Beginner-level lettering experience is necessary for this intermediate-level class. Students will receive a pack of Crayola markers, tracing paper, practice handouts and lots of inspiration and tips to continue practicing at home and beyond!

intro to procreate illustration

Do you have Procreate on your iPad but have no idea where to even begin with the app? Then this is the class for you! Caitlin will walk you through her process for creating an illustration in Procreate. From sketch, to colorful artwork, to adding textures and details, by the end of this class you’ll create a work of art! You’ll learn how to navigate the app, shortcuts to make your workflow easier, and my favorite tips, tricks and brushes. Students must use their own iPad, the Procreate app and an Apple pencil or stylus.

seasonal: PUMPKIN HAND-LETTERING

This is a Fall class favorite! In this 90-minute class, students will learn basic hand-lettering tips and tricks. They’ll write a fall word or phrase on their pumpkins and finish it off with a festive ribbon tied around the stem. Markers, ribbon and printed handouts will be provided and students will bring their own pumpkin – real or fake.

seasonal: FLORAL PAINTED PUMPKINS

Host a Fall-themed girls night and get crafty with your girlfriends! In this 90-minute class, students will learn step-by-step how to paint a colorful floral pattern on their pumpkins. Paints, brushes and printed handouts will be provided and students will bring their own pumpkin – real or fake.

seasonal: HOLIDAY HAND-LETTERING

Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at Happy Tines’ Holiday Hand-Lettering Workshop! In this 90-minute class, Caitlin will teach the basics of hand-lettering using various markers and pens. We’ll practice addressing holiday envelopes with different layout styles and we'll decorate holiday gift tags with our festive hand-lettering and doodles. All supplies are included (pens, markers, colored envelopes, gift tags, worksheets and an envelope addressing layout guide), so just bring your crafting A-game!
